What We Believe

Jesus Christ is our SAVIOUR
We believe in the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD existing in three Persons: The Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit
(I John 5:7-8).
Therefore, we firmly believe that JESUS CHRIST is GOD
(1 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 5:20)
who IS COME in the Flesh
(1 John 4:2-3; 5:20, and 2 John 1:7),
that He was born of a virgin, in His atonement for our sins, His bodily resurrection, and His second coming.
(John 1:1; Isaiah. 7:14; I John. 2:1-2)

The KJV Bible is given by the inspiration of God
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, providentially preserved in the English language, as the Authorized King James Version, and as such, is "the holy scriptures" and thereby "given by inspiration of God."
(Proverbs 30:5; Psalm 12:6-7;
II Timothy 3:15-17)
It is the final authority in all things. We believe that the King James Bible is our law and book of instruction and it is our duty to judge all things by it, according to the word of God, as we rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
We are saved by Grace and not of Works
We believe that salvation is wholly "by grace through faith" in the completed, finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, and "not of works, lest any man should boast" nor "by works of righteousness which we have done." Furthermore, we stand firmly upon the immutable promise of God's Word that the believer is "sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" and is eternally secure, possessing everlasting life from the very moment of belief.
(John 5:24; John 10:28; Acts 15:11; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)
The Church
We believe the Scriptures reveal two distinct uses of the word "church": the spiritual "church, which is His body," comprising every born-again believer baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit, and the local assembly, where believers gather in fellowship. We believe that everyone who is truly saved should join a self-governing, autonomous local church. Furthermore, we stand as an Independent, Bible-believing, King James Only assembly, maintaining strict separation from all hierarchical, religio-political systems. We observe two church ordinances: Water Baptism (by immersion) and the Lord's Supper; and recognize two scriptural offices: Pastor and Deacon.
(1 Corinthians 1:16; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Timothy 3:1-13)
Doctrine
We are Baptist in doctrine and traditional in our views of music and spiritual worship, rejecting modern worldly methods. We practice biblical dispensationalism, rightly dividing the word of truth without reaching unscriptural extremes, and we are uncompromisingly anti-Calvinistic, believing that Christ tasted death for every man. We hold the firm historical and biblical position that the Roman Catholic system is "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Furthermore, we stand strictly against the deceptive "higher and lower criticism" taught in modern seminaries, which attempts to sit in judgment over the word of God. Finally, we believe in a practical, biblical Christianity, manifested through fervent prayer, personal soul-winning, cheerful giving, ministering to the saints, and a holy, daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Amos 5:23; Romans 10:13-14; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7; Ephesians 5:19; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; 2 Timothy 2:15; Titus 2:11-12; Hebrews 2:9; 1 John 2:2; Revelation 17:1-6)
The Enemy and Hell
We believe that Satan, that old serpent called the Devil and Lucifer, is a literal, created spirit being who "walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" and deceive. Furthermore, we believe that Hell is a literal, physical place of fiery torment beneath the earth where "their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."
It is the immediate destination for every soul that rejects the Lord Jesus Christ and His blood atonement, and all who die in their sins will ultimately be cast into the eternal Lake of Fire.
Finally, we stand firmly upon the scriptural truth that God has granted all men a free will to choose or refuse Christ, commanding all men everywhere to repent and believe the Gospel.
(Joshua 24:15; Isaiah 14:12; Mark 1:15; Mark 9:44-48; Luke 16:24; John 3:18; Acts 17:30; 1 Peter 5:8;
Revelation 12:9; Revelation 20:13-15)
